Backstage, one of the referees burst into Tessa Blanchard locker room. He demands that Blanchard respect him and the other referees when they are in the ring. Referees are the law. Blanchard laughs and says ok.
Backstage, Tommy Dreamer says Eli Drake is an entitled millennial. Dreamer runs down all of Drake’s failures.
Taya Valkyrie vs Ray Lyn
Lyn and Valkyrie taunt each other. Valkyrie chops Lyn. Lyn responds with a stiff elbow. Lyn lands a missile dropkick off the second rope for a near fall. Valkyrie reverses an Irish whip and hits a few elbows in the corner. Valkyrie hits Meteora. Lyn kicks out. Lyn counters Valkyrie’s Road to Valhalla attempts. Valkyrie responds with a curb stomp. Valkyrie puts Lyn in a modified deathlock with a crossface. Lyn taps out.
Winner Taya Valkyrie
After the match, Blanchard hits the ring and attacks Valkyrie. The referee from early, Brandon Toll, is in the ring. Blanchard decks him. Blanchard chocks Toll. Multiple referees and officials hit the ring. Blanchard will not let go. Toll’s face turns bright red. Gail Kim runs down to the ring and pulls Blanchard off of Toll. Blanchard tries to get in Kim’s face but Valkyrie spears her.
