XFL Cities And Stadiums Officially Announced By League (Video)

The XFL has officially revealed the list of eight cities and stadiums that will host teams for their inaugural season in 2020.

Today’s announcement may not come as a surprise to some, as the final list of teams was leaked early on the league’s website on Friday night. Wrestlezone first reported the list was posted on the ‘contact us’ page before it was quickly removed.

The full press conference is available to watch in the player below. Here are some of the more notable points from the press conference, including all eight venues for the XFL 2020 season:

– New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy confirms MetLife Stadium will host the ‘New York’ XFL team starting in 2020. It is confirmed that the XFL will kick off their 2020 season on February 8-9.

1. MetLife Stadium – New York

2. Globe Life Park – Arlington (Dallas)

– Currently home of the Rangers, who will move next door to Globe Life Field in 2020

3. TDECU Stadium – Houston

– Football stadium on University Of Houston campus

4. StubHub Center – Carson, CA (Los Angeles)

– current home of the MLS’ Los Angeles Galaxy

5. St Louis – The Dome At America’s Center

– former home of the NFL’s St Louis Rams

6. Seattle – CenturyLink Field

– current home of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks

7. Tampa – Raymond James Stadium

– current home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

8. Washington DC – Audi Field

– current home of the MLS’ DC United, currently in first year of operation

Other notes include:

  • The XFL will look to pay competitive salaries
  • They are looking into safe and legal ways fans can gamble on games
  • The XFL will invite over 900 players that were cut by NFL teams this fall to tryout
