Well, he isn’t wrong.
Seth Rollins opened up Monday Night RAW by cutting an excellent promo by saying something every fan could agree with: “Monday Night RAW has sucked!” Of course, he wasn’t cutting a promo at the WWE executives and writers that make the weekly show possible, but rather at General Manager Elect Baron Corbin. As he put it, “Every single decision you’ve made has been to mask your insecurities, Corbin.”
He then criticized the lack of an active Universal Champion. Saying Brock Lesnar is never at the show, and that’s why the TV ratings are at an “all-time low.” Corbin wasn’t having it, as he said he didn’t “give a damn,” and that he doesn’t care what Rollins or the WWE Universe thinks. “I’m going to be in charge for a very long time, and if you think it’s bad now, it’s only going to get worse for a guy like you,” proclaimed Corbin.
He then promised to put Rollins through hell for the rest of his stint as General Manager, and that it was going to start tonight as they’ll compete in a TLC match for the Intercontinental Championship later tonight.
