WWE is giving its Network subscribers an extra treat this holiday season with ’12 Days Of Hidden Gems’ on the WWE Network. This video seems to suggest all added events will be Christmas themed, and it is kicking off with a World Class Championship Wrestling event from 1981.
According to WWE Network News, this Christmas Star Wars event is missing three matches, but here are the following matches you can see on the Network listing. The Following is from WWE Network News:
Within the last hour, the Christmas Star Wars event from 1981 was added! This was one of Big Time Wrestling’s (the future WCCW) biggest shows of the year. Unfortunately, it isn’t the complete show as 3 matches are missing that took place on the night. However, it must be remembered that this was never intended for TV viewing (it was effectively just a large local show) and the Network team may well have just pieced it together as best they could from their archive. With that in mind, here is the card for this Network version:
- Ernie Ladd vs Jose Lothario for the World Class Brass Knuckles Title.
- El Solitario vs Tim Brooks
- Fritz Von Erich vs The Great Kabuki in a Texas Death Match
- Kerry, Kevin, & David Von Erich vs Frank Dusek, Bill Irwin, & Ten Gu
