Vince McMahon made a surprise appearance on SmackDown Live in order to clear up the current situation in the women’s division. He opened by congratulating Asuka, and then told Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch to “get over” the fact that Rousey interfered at TLC since it was a no-DQ match and that they should take their issues up with Rousey directly.
He then setup a title match between Asuka and Naomi.This was McMahon’s first appearance on SmackDown in quite a while, and is part of the “New Era” where the McMahon family collectively are listening to the fans and running both shows together.
