Rayne was shown on the broadcast after Mathews reviewed some of the other signings this week, and she confirmed she is starting back with IMPACT effective immediately. IMPACT Wrestling is in Dayton, Ohio tonight for a show called ‘Opening Day‘ co-promoted by Rockstar Pro Wrestling.
While Rayne and Mathews initially joked about her absence, saying she was in a casket and visiting the undead realm, she said she’s happy to be back:
“I am officially home, I’m back at IMPACT Wrestling. Things are going to be a little bit different this time around. I have some unfinished business to take care of.”
Rayne had been with Ring Of Honor since signing in September of 2018, but it was reported she had been granted a contractual release yesterday. It was noted that a general unhappiness with the creative direction was cited as a reason for the departure, and the split was said to be amicable.
Yesterday’s IMPACT Wrestling Press Pass media call also featured the confirmation that Rosemary had re-signed with the company for two more years.
