After all the buildup, the moment has finally arrived. KofiMania took center stage at the Showcase of the Immortals as Kofi Kingston challenged Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. With millions of fans supporting him, Kingston hoped to capitalize on the opportunity he’s worked his entire career to get. After a lengthy match, Kingston hit the Trouble in Paradise for the win.

With the New Day and Erick Rowan at ringside to support their respective participants, Bryan and Kingston put on a clinic. Bryan used his technical expertise to ground Kingston but the fan-favorite star continually persevered. Bryan mockingly started a Yes! Chant and nearly trapped Kingston in the LeBell lock. The New Day brawled with Rowan and Bryan failed to capitalize on the distraction.
