The WWE has announced today that Shane McMahon will be crowning a new pair of WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions this week during the latest SmackDown Live.

The previous champions, The Hardy Boyz, were forced to vacate their championships after Jeff Hardy sustained a knee injury while fighting Lars Sullivan. While Jeff rehabs from his recently completely surgery, the tag team championship must be given to new owners, and McMahon seemingly has some sort of plans in place for how to do that.
It’s unknown just what he’ll do with the belts, or how he’ll have the titles decided, but make sure to tune into SmackDown Live this week to find out.
