The Young Bucks Retain AAA Tag Team Titles Over Lucha Bros

After an incredible, bloody battle between Cody and Dustin Rhodes at AEW’s Double or Nothing, it was time for one of the two title matches to get underway, and that didn’t disappoint either. In a tag-team match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, both the incumbent champions The Young Bucks and The Lucha Bros. put on an incredible show.

From the very start of the match, it was clear that neither team was afraid of much, and both looked to do anything it took to win. Hungry for their chance at the Tag Team World Championship, The Lucha Bros both gave it their all as they competed. On the other side, The Young Bucks also looked every bit as good as you’d expect a champion to look.

While it looked for quite some time that The Young Bucks would easily be able to walk away with a victory, the Lucha Bros showed why they were in this match, and continued to battle back after every opportunity. Unfortunately for them, however, the Young Bucks were able to come away with an extremely hard-fought victory, as Nick and Matt Johnson gained the upper hand over The Lucha Bros thanks to a well-timed Meltzer Driver.
