The former Dean Ambrose continues to appear on various podcasts and websites spouting the truth about WWE as he sees it. In his interview with Pro Wrestling Torch, Moxley touched on how Roman Reigns has been mistreated and cast in an unwinnable situation.
I mean, Vince had him say suffering succotash, ya know what I mean? I remember that day. You think he wanted to say that? No. He went in there and he came out and was like ‘he wants me to say suffering succotash’ and I remember sorta laughing like dude, you can’t say that.
Moxley defends his friend saying that he’s a “great dude” with a personality to match. He has become a leader in the locker room, and he has “natural charisma.” The problem in his eyes is that WWE doesn’t let Roman display that to the fans. “There are many times where I felt like I had a stronger connection with the audience than him. But it didn’t matter. But he’s my best friend, so it would never come between us.”
