WWE RAW Results (6/8/19)

In-Ring Segment: Paul Heyman

Heyman recaps what happened on RAW last week; Brock Lesnar knows he can take the title from Rollins whenever he wants. Heyman discusses Rollins’ actions at Super ShowDown, where he beat Lesnar with a steel chair. Heyman wonders why the people cheer for Rollins; he’s not a worthy champion. He calls Rollins a stupid, feckless thug. Heyman says he and Lesnar are no longer willing to tell anyone when they’re cashing in the Money in the Bank contract. He teases that Lesnar might be here tonight or he might show up anytime he pleases. He could even be the referee for the title match at Stomping Grounds. He says Lesnar will take the title away from Rollins and that’s not a prediction, it’s a guarantee.

Backstage, in the elevator, R-Truth argues with the other 24/7 challengers. Carmella says they’re going to play a game where you can only talk if you’re holding the hat. R-Truth says he’s scared of losing the title. He calls Drave Maverick Hornswoggle and he says he’s a very small man.

The IIconics vs. Local Competitors 

The IIConics come to the ring and brag about the being the longest-reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions. They see they’re hunted down some genuine competition and introduce some local competitors. Billie Kay says the future will be IIconic. Billie Kay stomps away at one of the competitors and the IIConics gang up on her. Kay kicks the local talent several times and Royce pins her after a double-team maneuver.

Winners: The IIConics

A video package recaps Shane McMahon’s win over Roman Reigns at Super ShowDown and Reign’s interview afterwards. In the interview, Roman says McMahon was given the victory by somebody else. He says he knows who Drew McIntyre is and he’s going to bounce back at Stomping Grounds.

In the elevator, R-Truth, EC3 and the other 24/7 challengers are all getting along.

In-ring Segment: Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon

Drew McIntyre enters with bagpipe players. Shane McMahon enters next. In the ring, McMahon’s trophy is accompanied by some champagne and balloons. McMahon says he’s seen a lot of amazing things and you notice when something special comes along. He says Reigns is a future WWE Hall of Famer. He says Roman has accomplished a lot in a brief amount of time. McMahon lists Reigns’ accolades but states the Big Dog hasn’t beaten him. He reminds everyone that he beat Roman this past Friday. He says he’s proud of himself and that Roman’s best effort wasn’t good enough. He says McIntyre helped him so much when he was training for the match. McMahon says McIntyre’s emotional support enabled him to beat Reigns. McIntyre insults San Jose and says this city won’t ruin the celebration.

McIntyre says he’s going to hurt, maim and humiliate Roman. He says he’s going to physically assault Reigns at Stomping Grounds and he’s going to beat him. McMahon pours some champagne into the trophy and drinks some champagne with McIntyre. (McMahon drinks out of the trophy.) McMahon introduces the Revival as potential future RAW Tag Team Champions. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder try to have some champagne but McMahon says their match is next.
