Details continue to trickle out about the new hirings of both Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff. The latest details come from the reliable Pro Wrestling Sheet. They reveal that both Heyman and Bischoff won’t take on full responsibilities of their executive director roles straight off the bat. Instead, they’ll be eased into it over time and get them ready for having full creative control.
Of course, that last statement comes with quite the caveat as everything will still go through Vince McMahon at the end of the day. Speaking of McMahon, Pro Wrestling Sheet was told that this decision has nothing to do with the XFL’s oncoming relaunch in 2020. So, don’t expect any huge changes to either RAW or SmackDown next week.
