Originally set to be a tag team match between the Viking Raiders and New Day, the planned match ended in a disqualification after Samoa Joe snuck in and choked out Xavier Woods. Kofi Kingston would come to his friend’s aid, and that led to WWE turning it into a six-man tag match.

Kingston was hot early and put a beating on Ivar, but things went awry after he tagged in Xavier Woods. Ivar was able to get Joe into the match and he started to work over the wrestler that he had choked out moments before. All three members of the heel team began to isolate Woods until the WWE Champion found his way back in. After Joe was tagged in, Kingston was distracted by the Viking Raiders and allowed Joe to get his rear-naked choke in for the victory.
