Moose On His Upcoming Clash With RVD, Winning IMPACT’s Top Prize

Moose recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about his upcoming bout with RVD at this year’s Slammiversary. He states that he’s been a fan of the “Whole F’n Show” since the days of ECW, but he’s ready to put that all aside. “He was a big reason why I wanted to become a wrestler. Now I get to step in the ring with him.”

If Moose is successful against the master of the 5-Star Frog Splash, it will only further propel him towards his ultimate goal, the Impact World Championship. He fought for the title at last year’s PPV, coming up short against then-champ Austin Aries. Despite that, Moose believes he’s ready. “I’ve made a lot of growth over the past year, and I’m definitely ready to be the world champion and carry the company. If Sunday goes as planned, then I’m ready to go after the world title.”

Moose also believes that wrestling RVD will help propel him into the stratosphere in terms of notability in wrestling. “I want people saying, ‘Damn, Moose is going to be a legend.’ That’s my game plan, that’s my motivation. I want to show people that I can be a legend in this business.”
