The Street Profits Honor Their Word
The Street Profits promised that the next time the NXT universe saw them, they would be the tag team champions. After their victory and taking of the vacant titles at NXT TakeOver XXV, the duo had their first title defense during tonight’s episode. After the episode, the champions took to backstage, where they talked about honoring their word and how they have no plans to stop being champions.
Io Shirai Debuts A New Look
Io Shirai has gone through quite the change during her time in NXT. After snapping over the past couple of weeks, the superstar came out tonight with a much different look, and quickly told the crowd that she didn’t need any friends, or any of the crowd. It was a quick message that showed just how much she had changed, and as the crowd booed, Shirai left the ring.
