Cody & Brandi Rhodes’ Dog Pharaoh Returns To Starrcast III To Benefit PAWS Chicago, DDPY’s Challenge Announces Finalists

Cody & Brandi Rhodes’ Dog Pharaoh Returns To Starrcast

CM Punk is headed to Chicago for Starrcast III and so is Cody and Brandi Rhodes‘ dog Pharaoh. “The Siberian Nightmare” will be making his return to Schaumberg, IL for meet and greets to help support PAWS Chicago. Last year at the first Starrcast Pharaoh was on hand (or “on paw”) for the event and the husky helped raise $10,000 for the organization. Tickets will go on sale to meet Pharaoh at 12 PM EST today.

I was fortunate enough to speak with Brandi Rhodes back in March and I asked her what was the hardest part of training Pharaoh when she first adopted him.

“Pharaoh, when we first got him, had a lot of anxiety and I think that’s a husky trait. He would rip things up all the time if I wasn’t paying attention to him. He just was really devious in the early stages and being a bigger dog, the messes were always bigger so it was a challenge to get him under a little bit more control than I have to with the Cheese Boys. They’re three and five pounds so I can just put them away and not deal with them, but Pharaoh you can’t do that, he’s 75 pounds.”

“I kind of had train myself as to how best to train this larger dog as far as walking him as far as his obedience and he’s just become a really good, all around family dog which is amazing. I wasn’t sure that that was something that was going to be possible with him, but he’s one of the best family dogs that there is.”
