All Elite Wrestling has announced another ‘first’, as Cody Rhodes is set to take on Sammy Guevara when they debut on TNT in October. This is the first confirmed match confirmed for AEW’s TV show later this fall.
AEW’s yet-to-be-named television show will debut on TNT on October 2nd; the show will be taped at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Yesterday, AEW announced tickets would go on sale this Friday for the event. Tickets range from $20–250, with the highest tier including a commemorative chair.
All Elite Wrestling has also made a number of personnel-related announcements this week, as they also signed Chris Van Vliet as an interviewer, and former TNA / IMPACT star Rebel for backstage hair and makeup.

Moments before the reveal Cody said he “was excited this was the match selected. To have a young & hungry opponent who has no ceiling when it comes to pro-wrestling. Going forward not backwards.”
