Three Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champions Added To New Japan’s Super J-Cup

The 2019 Super J-Cup continues to get filled up. The exciting junior heavyweight tournament will be held outside of Japan for the very first time and the field already has Dragon Lee, Sho, and TJP announced for it. Now New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced three additional contestants.

First up is Ryusuke Taguchi, who is competing in his third Super J-Cup. The talented wrestler is a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. Bullet Club’s Taiji Ishimori will enter his second Super J-Cup and is also a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight titleholder. He currently is one-half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. Finally, Mexican star, and the former Sin Cara, Caristico will enter. He’s been one of Latin America’s biggest draws of all-time.
