WWE Studios Hires VP For Unscripted Production & Development
Realscreen has an exclusive on their website detailing WWE Studios hiring Ben Zierten, former executive of Revelations entertainment, as the content division’s Vice President For Unscripted Production & Development. He’ll be working under Susan Levinson, who was hired as the WWE Studios Senior VP back in March.
The article gives a little background about Zierten who is no spring chicken when it comes to producing content. His role with WWE Studios will have him “generate ideas for factual across all genres – including documentary, formats, game shows, among others – while also taking pitches from third-party producers, bringing ideas to market and overseeing all long-form production across linear broadcast, cable and digital platforms.” Zierten will also be in charge of building out the Studio’s team for unscripted production and development.
