Legends of Lucha Libre and New Japan Pro Wrestling Toy Lines News (Photos)

Over the weekend wrestling collectors were excited to learn about the upcoming Legends of Lucha Libre and New Japan Pro Wrestling toy lines! Expo Lucha was this past weekend where the Legends of Lucha Libre toy line was fully revealed with prototypes and more.

Legends of Lucha Libre

Boss Fight Studios partnered with Masked Republic to bring this toy line to collectors.

  • The figures will be 6.5 inches tall (very similar to Mattel WWE)
  • The figures will come in window boxes with accessories, swappable heads and hands
  • Each figure is super articulated similar to WWE Elite figures
  • Rey Fenix and Penta Zero will be Series 1
  • Konnan and Lady Maravilla will be Series 2
  • Tinieblas Jr. and Laredo Kid will be Series 3
  • On display were also 3 inch super deformed figures (think boxed vinyl) and 3 inch bust line with masks. Both will be counter top box style with variants.
  • You’ll be able to order these on Megalopolis.toys and possibly other online retailers later this year
  • They’re expected to release Summer 2020
  • They will retail around $40 each

New Japan Pro Wrestling

Super7 partnered with New Japan to bring collectors this toy line.

  • These are expected to go up for pre-order in October with an expected release in 2020
  • They will be super articulated and come with cloth accessories, belts and more
  • They will retail for around $40 on online retailers
  • They will scale well with WWE Elite figures
  • We should learn more at New York Comic Con
  • The first wave will include: Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii
  • You’ll be able to order these on Megalopolis.toys and possibly other online retailers later this year
