Becky Lynch Featured In New ESPN ‘This Is SportsCenter’ Commercials

Becky Lynch, a barista and the Rutgers Scarlet Knight? This. Is. SportsCenter.

ESPN announced Lynch will appear in two of their twelve new This is SportsCenter commercial series in honor of the network’s 40th anniversary; the ‘TISC’ ads became extremely popular in 1990s and have been a staple ever since then.

Several spots will debut across TV, digital and social while others will be seen primarily on digital and social channels. ESPN wrote the spots in house and they were produced in concert with Hungry Man productions. Lynch is featured in “What’s My Name?” along with with Noel the Barista, which will air on TV, digital and social channels. The second spot, called Push, features Lynch with the Rutgers Scarlet Knight mascot and it will air exclusively on digital and social channels.

“We’ve been working to develop terrific new SportsCenter scripts for a while now, and when we realized the timing worked out perfectly with our anniversary, we pressed GO!,” said Laura Gentile, SVP of Marketing. “This campaign has always been iconic, and made to delight fans.
