WWE.com announced that “the Drifter” will not compete against Chad Gable in their King of the Ring semifinals due to an unspecified injury. No replacement has been made yet.

Due to an injury, Elias will not compete in his scheduled King of the Ring semifinal match against Chad Gable.

Either way, the King of the Ring will continue.
