Owens knocks McIntyre off the apron. Frog splash by Owens. McIntyre kicks out. McIntyre runs right into Owens’ pop-up powerbomb. McIntyre kicks out. Owens tries a swanton but McIntyre gets his knees up. McIntyre hits the Claymore but Owens manages to get his foot on the rope to break the pin. Owens hits the Stunner. McIntyre puts his foot on the rope to break the pin. McIntyre counters the Stunner into the future shock DDT. Owens kicks out. Owens lands another Stunner. HHH walks out on the stage.
After the break, HHH is in the ring with a mic. HHH puts over Boston. HHH says he is here with a similar offer for Owens like he gave to Rollins. HHH says Owens more than anyone legitimized NXT. HHH says Owens was taken by people who didn’t understand Owens and didn’t want him. Owens was told over and over again that he didn’t belong in WWE. HHH looks at Owens and sees a guy who is every bit as good as he says he is. The Forgotten Sons, Dijakovic, and Damian Priest are outside the ring. HHH insures Owens that the NXT crew isn’t here tonight. HHH remarks that the reason no one from RAW has come to the ring is that they don’t care about Owens. A few RAW stars attack the NXT contingent. The Undisputed Era jumps the barricade and attacks Owens. HHH and Adam Cole argue.
