Breakker saves Theory from a powerbomb through the commentary desk with a Spear. Dupri sits on the ring post while Breakker super Spears Otis.
Grade: C
This match only took place to get to the angle after the fact… which was circled around Otis and Tozawa. Now, this writer likes both men, but… Breakker was supposed to be main eventing WrestleMania. All of this is just odd. Evans and Lee were just fodder to further the Otis/Theory/Dupri love triangle? Evans was taken from NXT in the midst of him being made the face of NXT for… this?
Love That Danhausen!
Danhausen scurries to the ring holding a bag. The crowd cheers as Danhausen notes he thought he was done with The Judgment Day at SNME. The Judgment Day wants their human monies back. Danhausen doesn’t want to give The Judgment Day their money back, so he’s going to give it to the fanhausens. JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan storm the ring and demand their money. Danhausen curses The Judgment Day. McDonagh and Dominik attack Danhausen. Joe Hendry makes the save.
Grade: C+
This was fine. Didn’t overstay its welcome, and a Danhausen/Joe Hendry team could be fun to watch.
Oba Femi vs. JD McDonagh
Dominik and McDonagh rush the ring and get clotheslined by Femi. Femi sends Dominik out of the ring. McDonagh chops Femi. Femi is unbothered, and McDonagh tries to run away. McDonagh gets sent into the stratosphere with a back body drop. Pizza toss by Femi! Femi hits the Fall from Grace for the win.
Winner- Oba Femi
Grade: B
This was the perfect squash. Loved this.
I’ll Scratch Your Back…
The former leader of the MFTs, Solo Sikoa, hops the barricade and says he’s not even supposed to be here, but he’s got business. Sikoa asks Seth Rollins to come to the ring. Rollins obliges. Rollins welcomes Sikoa to Monday Night Rollins and asks what he can do for him. Are they talking, or are they fighting? The crowd wants a fight. Sikoa says he’s here to talk. The crowd doesn’t like that one bit. Sikoa (while getting what’d by the crowd) tells Rollins it’s going to be four against one at SummerSlam.
In the end, Sikoa is here to offer Rollins backup at SummerSlam. A loud OTC chant breaks out as Rollins mulls it over. Rollins says he needs to think about it. As Rollins walks away, Sikoa grabs Rollins’ arm and pulls him back. Sikoa says there is nothing to think about. He can do for Rollins what Rollins did for Cody Rhodes years ago. Jacob Fatu‘s music hits, and he power walks to the ring. Sikoa books it through the crowd. Fatu turns around and eats a superkick from Rollins. Fatu licks his chops as Rollins pimp struts back up the ramp.
Grade: B-
Has Roman cheated to win a match since putting together the new-ish Bloodline? Why exactly does Rollins need backup here? If you think about this too long, it takes away from the fun of all of this. Love seeing all of these people mix it up, but this “Rollins needing help” thing is asinine.
Rusev and Ethan Page vs. Intercontinental Champion Penta and Chad Gable
Page and Rusev attack before the bell. Page gets a nearfall after a boot to the face. Rusev and Page land a double suplex on Penta for another near fall. Penta manages to tag in Gable. Gable lands a diving clothesline. Penta tries a destroyer on the apron, but Rusev back body drops him on the edge of the ring. Rusev sends Penta into the ring steps. After the break, everyone trades big moves.
Gable gets trapped in Rusev’s Accolade. Gable almost breaks the hold, but Rusev headbutts him. Rusev launches Gable into Penta, knocking him off the top. Gable counters the Accolade and locks Rusev in the Ankle Lock. Penta leaps off Gable’s back and obliterates Page with a Mexican Destroyer before he can break up the pin. Gable drops down and Rusev taps.
Winners- Penta and Chad Gable
After the match, Gable takes a long look at the IC Championship before handing it to Penta. Penta and Gable celebrate.
Grade: B-
So far, this is holding the match of the night honors. Super fun tag match that could have used more time.
AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio w/Liv Morgan vs. Joe Hendry
Dominik lands a few strikes. Hendry fires back and stomps Dominik in the corner. Hendry lands a delayed vertical suplex. Dominik sends Hendry out of the ring. Dominik tries a dive. Morgan rolls out and eats a crossbody from SKY. In the confusion, Danhausen rolls in and takes Dominik out with the DDD. Hendry pins Dominik.
Winner- Joe Hendry
Grade: C+
Fun TV match with a nice callback to earlier in the show. Does this mean Hendry is the number one contender for the Mega title now?

After the break, Fatu is working over Knight. Knight manages a superplex. Jimmy Usos stomps down to ringside and cheers on Fatu. Solo Sikoa reappears and attacks Jimmy. Fatu takes out Sikoa with a dive. Knight counters a pop-up Samoan drop into a BFT! Jimmy distracts the referee. Royce Keys appears and beats the heck out of Jimmy. Jey Uso’s music hits. Jey hops the barricade and superkicks Keys. Keys doesn’t go down. Jey lands several superkicks and dumps Keys into the timekeeper’s area. Knight dropkicks Jey through the ropes. Grade: B
Great main event. The in-ring action was top-notch, with Knight and Fatu pulling out at least 7 of 10 stops. The best thing about this is even with all of the shenanigans, we still got a pinfall finish. Having a main event end in a DQ to serve an angle. Fatu got a big win here, which he needs more of to reestablish himself as a main eventer. This was also a good spot to highlight Keys, though they could have made him a bit more dominant in this thing. Key should be the same level of beast as Fatu, to balance out the teams. Those two should battle like Godzilla and Mecha Godzilla.
WWE Raw Review:
This show featured way too much talking and self-aggrandizing commercials for WWE. Beyond that, the majority of the in-ring action was ok, with the main event standing above most of what we were given tonight. Beyond the Lesnar/Femi feud, the build to most of these SummerSlam matches has been lackluster. Having so many PLEs so close together is starting to mess with their ability to build proper angles. Everything seems rushed. We have one more Raw till SummerSlam, and if this writer is being honest, there is little to be excited about at this point.
