Kip Sabian and Shawn Spears vs. Adam Page and Kenny Omega.

Tully Blanchard was conspicuous by his absence but appeared on video saying that Spears is looking for a tag team partner and this is a test for Kip Sabian.

Early on in the match, Shawn Spears allowed Kip Sabian to start so that he could observe him. The commentators put over that he is looking for a partner.

Good work early on from the members of The Elite that are currently on hiatus from the group. during the picture-in-picture commercial break, Shawn Spears tagged into the match for the first time and earned a near fall on Adam Page. Back from break, the heels were in the middle of working over Adam Page.

Some quick maneuvering allowed Adam to tag and Kenny and Kenny would begin to do some quick maneuvering of his own taking down both of the villainous competitors. Terminator suicide dive stopped by Penelope Ford for Kenny. Jim Ross would comment that Penelope is a great diversion.

Later down the line, Ford would hit Hangman with a Rana. there was another moment of showcasing Penelope’s abilities as she was allowed to hit Kenny Omega with a springboard back elbow while Shawn Spears distracted the ref. JR would call Penelope a star so it’s definitely working and worth it.

Omega would level the playing field with a v trigger knee to Sabian… And the lights go out. Suddenly, Joey Janela appears and has tied Shawn Spears mentor, Tully Blanchard to a chair. The two would brawl. Kip Sabian would be left all alone and hangman with tag himself in and deliver The Buckshot Lariat for the win.

WINNER: Page and Kenny Omega

Sammy Guevara gave it his best shot but was ultimately overwhelmed by the power and size of Luchasaurus. Lucha would get the win with the inverted facebuster.

Texas Street Fight: The Young Bucks vs. Proud N’ Powerful

This was a wild match filled with crazy high spots. The opening bell never even got a chance to ring. The Inner Circle tried to attack The Young Bucks upon their entrance and that only led to Sammy Guevara eating a Meltzer driver on the stage and 1 of PNP. going through a table courtesy of a swanton bomb from Nick Jackson.

Down the line, The Bucks had an opportunity at winning but Jake Hager would pull out referee Rick Knox who would fall and be put out of commission for the rest of the night following a kick from Nick Jackson that was intended for Jake Hager. Aubrey Edwards would come out to call the rest of the match and PNP would almost win but Nick Jackson would pull Aubrey out of the ring saving the match for his team.

Ultimately, a superkick aided by a steel chair and a Meltzer driver would send The Young Bucks into a championship match next week against SCU in Corpus Christi, Texas.
