The Opera Cup To Return To MLW In 2020
Big news coming out of MLW: While the 2019 Opera Cup is currently underway, there are already plans for a 2020 rendition of the classic tournament in the works. The following was announcing by the company on its website.
“After the success of the 2019 Opera Cup tournament in New York City, league officials have confirmed the “Classic” will be back next year.
“The league is already actively making preliminary plans for the Opera Cup, which will likely take place late in 2020.
“More details are expected in the months ahead as the prestigious cup has cemented its return to the sport.”

Barrington Hughes Announces His Exit
The Colossus will be stepping onto the wrestling canvas elsewhere. Barrington Hughes took to Twitter to announce that he was granted his release by Major League Wrestling. In his Tweet, Hughes thanked everyone for giving him a platform to showcase his skills.

The Florida-based super-heavyweight started with MLW back at their One-Shot show in July of 2017. He was last seen taking part in the MLW Mystery Box Battle Royal while in Orlando as a big bulk of the competitors ganged up on Hughes to eliminate him first from competition.
