Some changes are coming to how the All Elite Wrestling records and rankings work.
On Twitter, the company announced that rankings will now be revealed 9 a.m. on Wednesday mornings prior to AEW Dynamite airing. They had been releasing on Friday, before AEW Dark had aired, and were often confusing as they counted matches that hadn’t been seen by fans yet. This change should make them more logical.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes confirmed on Twitter that AEW records will reset in January while hyping his tag match with Dustin Rhodes against the Lucha Bros. We knew that they’d reset at some point, but now we know they will be cleansed as the new year begins.
So glad we came to terms on this match! Dustin & I don’t team often anymore, but when we do…it’s ??
With the records resetting in January, The Brotherhood is coming for a W. Pentagon & Fenix are immensely talented, and I’m looking forward to this. #AEWDynamite https://t.co/E1GjOnTbDF
