Daniel Bryan Taps Out The Miz, Faces Bray Wyatt At Royal Rumble

Daniel Bryan is officially headed to WWE Royal Rumble, as he came away with a big win against The Miz and Baron Corbin in a triple threat match to close out tonight’s episode of SmackDown. In a match that was almost postponed, then turned into a 1-on-1, then redone as a triple threat match, Bryan never lost composure, and was able to overcome interferences from both Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns to walk away as the winner. Now, he’ll go up against Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble with the WWE Universal Championship on the line.

Following the victory, Bryan was quickly interrupted by another episode of Firefly Funhouse. In it, Wyatt quickly congratulated Bryan for the win, but said that in order to defeat the Fiend, he’ll have to let him in at Royal Rumble. Whether or not Bryan does that has yet to be sene, but he’ll at least have the chance to defeat him soon.

For a recap of the end of the match, check out below, and make sure to follow along with our live coverage of tonight’s SmackDown:
