In-Ring Segment: Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar
Heyman says he is having a crisis of conscience. Heyman thinks the WWE Universe is taking Lesnar for granted. Of course, Lesnar comes to the ring and does the impossible. Of course, because he is Brock Lesnar. Heyman goes on to explain why Lesnar running the table at the Royal Rumble is totally unprecedented. Heyman says there isn’t one person in the locker room worthly to main event WrestleMania against him. Ricochet walks out on the ramp. Ricochet says Heyman talks a lot. Ricochet says there are some in the back who are afraid of Lesnar, but he isn’t one of them. Heyman tells Ricochet to go back to the locker room before he gets hurt. Ricochet gets in the ring as Heyman screams don’t do it. Ricochet says he isn’t afraid to challenge Lesnar to a fight, right now. Lesnar laughs and walks away. Ricochet asks Lesnar if he is scared. Lesnar sighs and gets back in the ring. Lesnar kicks Ricochet in the nuts. Lesnar picks up a mic and says he’s not scared. Lesnar stomps off.
Backstage, Randy Orton says Drew McIntyre is great, but he isn’t Orton.
Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre
McIntyre runs over Orton with a shoulder block. Orton responds with a shoulder block of his own. McIntyre drives Orton into the corner. McIntyre lays in rights and lefts. McIntyre stuns Orton with a nasty knife-edged chop. Orton explodes out of the corner with a clothesline. McIntyre rolls out of the ring. Orton suplexes McIntyre on the barricade twice. McIntyre manages to push Orton into the ring post. McIntyre tries the Claymore but Orton moves out of the way. McIntyre kicks a stagehand in the face. McIntyre shrugs and continues his assault on Orton.
After the break, McIntyre dives off the top into a dropkick from Orton. Orton and McIntyre trade strikes. Orton drops McIntyre with a hangman’s DDT. Orton calls for the RKO. McIntyre avoids it and lands the Glasgow kiss. Overhead belly-to-belly by McIntyre. Deadlift suplex by McIntyre. McIntyre calls for the Claymore. Orton counters into a powerslam. McIntyre kicks out. Orton lands a superplex. Orton falls out of the ring. The OC runs down to the ring and attacks McIntyre to cause a DQ.
Winner- Drew
Orton gets back in the ring with a chair. McIntyre and Orton clean the house. Orton drops McIntyre with an RKO. McIntyre grabs a mic and says that it isn’t going to happen again. McIntyre says he prays to god the two of them end up in the Rumble at the same time. McIntyre promises to kick Orton’s head off his shoulders and go on to main event WrestleMania
