In-Ring Segment: Michael Elgin
Elgin says Rebellion is close to his heart because a year ago he debut in IMPACT last year and he made a statement. He is going to be the champion. Problem is Blanchard claims to be stuck in Mexico and Edwards is hiding in Boston. The only right thing to do is this: Elgin asks for a referee. Elgin demands that the ring announcer gets in the ring. Elgin instructs the referee to raise his hand. Elgin tells the ring announcer to announce him as the new IMPACT Champion. Before Penzer can make the call, the lights go out and Moose comes out. Moose is wearing the old TNA Heavyweight Championship. Moose says he understands Elgin’s pain. Moose says there is a world champion in the house. Moose says instead of complaining, he can come to get a piece of the TNA Championship. Hernandez comes out and says if you want to be a champion you should win the title. If Elgin and Moose want to fight, there is no way Hernandez isn’t going to be involved. Hernandez charges the ring.
TNA Heavyweight Championship Match: Moose ( c) vs. Michael Elgin vs. Hernandez
Hernandez and Moose fight outside the ring. Elgin hits a dive. Moose decks Elgin. Moose runs into a hip toss by Elgin. Elgin tries a hip toss on Hernandez but Hernandez doesn’t budge. Moose hits the ropes and gets hip tossed by Elgin and Hernandez. Hernandez floors Elgin with a slingshot shoulder block. A dropkick by Moose sends Hernandez flying. Elgin grabs Moose and gets a near fall via a northern lights suplex. Elgin puts Hernandez in a single leg crab. Moose tries to break it up but ends up in a half crab as well. Hernandez breaks it up. Hernandez puts Elgin up top. Moose knocks Hernandez off the top. Elgin takes down Hernandez with a missile dropkick off the second rope. After the break, Elgin and Hernandez trade strikes. Elgin clotheslines Hernandez in the corner. Moose surprises Elgin with a running boot. Elgin catches Moose with a boot. Eglin goes up top. Moose dropkicks Elgin while he is on the top rope. Moose superplexes Hernandez. Before Moose can take advantage, Elgin crushes Moose with a senton off the top.
Hernandez sets Elgin up for the Border Toss. Moose kicks Hernandez in the gut which forces Hernandez to drop Elgin. Moose and Hernandez trade punches. Moose lands a few running shoulder block, Ultimate Warrior-style (Moose is wearing faux Warrior gear. Moose hits a splash. Hernandez kicks out. Elgin avoids Moose’s spear attempt. Elgin German suplexes Moose and Hernandez at the same time. Hernandez kicks out. Moose hits the Go To Hell on Elgin. Hernandez breaks up the pin. Hernandez pounces Moose. Elgin breaks up that pin. Elgin hits the Elgin Bomb but Moose bounces off the turnbuckle and hits the No Jack Hammer Needed Spear. Elgin’s foot is under the rope. Elgin hits the Elgin bomb on Hernandez. Moose pulls the referee out of the ring. Elgin shoves the referee. Another referee runs down to the ring. Hernandez dives over the top and lands on Elgin and the referee. Hernandez sends the referee back into the ring. Hernandez turns around and walks right into the No Jackhammer Needed Spear for the win.
Winner- Moose
Moose demands that Penzer announce him as the TNA Heavyweight Champion.
