This week on WWE RAW, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre appeared on the VIP Lounge with MVP. At WWE Backlash, McIntyre will defend his title against MVP’s new ally, Bobby Lashley. McIntyre trashed the set of the VIP Lounge right when he entered the ring. MVP told McIntyre that Lashley won’t touch him until they fight at WWE Backlash. He also recapped the last time McIntyre was on the VIP Lounge, when McIntyre rejected MVP’s mentorship. MVP said that night made him vow to play a role in McIntyre’s downfall.

McIntyre said he wasn’t impressed that Lashley waited 13 years for a title match because he waited 19. The WWE Champion reminded MVP that he beat Lesnar. McIntyre said he doesn’t need anyone to think for him. Tensions continued to rise and Lashley came to the ring. McIntyre drilled MVP with Claymore and dared Lashley to fight him. But Lashley retreated.
