Samoa Joe could be donning several hats on WWE RAW if roster depth indeed becomes an issue.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Samoe Joe is not cleared for a return to the ring at this moment, but he is currently considered the permanent replacement for Jerry Lawler in the RAW commentary booth.
Samoa Joe has been out of action since before WrestleMania and it’s been just a few weeks since the star took back to the announcer booth to call the action alongside Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton. Joe has received high praise for his ability behind the commentator’s table and from the way it sounds, one of wrestling’s biggest stars has cemented his position as a viable commodity underneath the headset.
