Backstage, Strowman says he knows Miz and Morrison messed with his drink. Miz and Morrison press a button from the van and a bunch of green slime falls on Kayla Braxton. Strowman apologizes because he knows that was for him. Kayla calls Miz and Morrison bastards. Miz and Morrison are going to take this a victory since a little bit of the slime ended up on Strowman’s pants.
Renee Young is in the ring with the IC title. Renee introduces her guest tonight, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan. Styles interrupts Renee and says he knows what Bryan is going to say. Bryan is going to call Styles a coward for not fighting his way into the finals. Bryan says yeah, Styles is a coward. Styles says did the smart thing. It’s noble that Bryan is trying to do the right thing but it’s stupid. Bryan says he knows he is just trying to get under his skin. Bryan knows they have two different visions of being the champion. Bryan says he is going to defend the title every week. Bryan isn’t doing that because he’s noble. Bryan is doing ti to push himself and make him better. Styles goes on a rant about Bryan wants a handout. Styles says he is going to reach across the aisle and do something unexpected. Styles wants Gulak to come to the ring and get his “handout”, aka, an ass whipping. Gulak comes down to the ring and tackles Styles.

After the break, Styles is driving his shoulder into Gulak’s gut in the corner. Styles misses a dropkick. Gulak puts Styles in a submission hold. Styles escapes. Styles floors Gulak with a nasty lariat. Gulak kicks out. Gulak beats Styles into the corner. Gulak lands a few strikes. Styles sends Gulak into the corner. Styles misses a corner splash. Gulak unleashes a flurry of strikes. Gulak suplexes Styles. Styles sets up the Styles Clash. Styles bad mouths Bryan. Gulak rolls up Styles for the WIN!!!
