Bayley and Sasha Banks came back to NXT tonight with the hopes of retaining their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox. They did that, but suffered a pretty rough ambush afterwards at the hands of the NXT Women’s Champion.

Bayley and Banks were able to come away with the win after Banks locked in the Banks Statement onto Blackheart following Bayley distracting the referee with a chair in the ring. After the match, however, Io Shirai came down to the ring, ambushing both Bayley and Banks and causing both to run fleeing out of the ring. Despite the win, Shirai still showed that NXT is her yard, and she won’t have enough else taunting in it.

Blackheart and Nox both hits corner sentons. Nox chokeslams Banks off the apron onto Bayley. After an assist from Nox, Blackheart lands a dive to the outside. Nox and Blackheart hit their combo Sliced Bread #2. Banks breaks up the pin by pushing Nox into Blackheart. Blackheart lands a missile dropkick. Banks reverses Blackheart’s pin into the Banks Statement. Blackheart reverses that into Cattle Mutilation. Bayley tries to bring a chair into the ring. Nox cuts her off. While the referee is distracted, Banks flips Blackheart back into the Banks Statement. Blackheart taps out.
