WWE Adopts New Testing & Taping Schedule After Positive COVID-19 Results

UPDATE: WWE issued a statement to WrestleZone saying, “WWE will continue COVID-19 testing of its talent, production crew and employees in advance of TV productions for the foreseeable future.”


Earlier today, it was revealed that multiple members of WWE tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, changes have been made to when WWE is testing talent for the virus and its taping schedule.

Post Wrestling has found out that WWE had talent and crew arrive one day early this week in order to test talent. Testing is being done both day and tomorrow. As for the taping schedule, both Friday and Saturday will see double tapings of RAW and SmackDown now.

WrestleZone has reached out to WWE about the positive cases but have not heard back yet.
