Bronson Reed and Damien Priest will be seeing each other later this month during the NXT North American Championship Ladder Match, but tonight, it was all Reed, who scored a surprise victory over Priest in a singles match.
After trading strikes for a bit, things ended for Priest after Reed was able to reverse a suplex into one of his own, and then roll Priest into a jackknife cover for the quick victory. The win was a shocker, but speaks to just how rapidly Reed has ascended throughout NXT. Now, Reed and Priest will prepare for their big match at NXT TakeOver: XXX.
