Retribution hasn’t shown up on NXT, but someone on NXT has shown up in Retribution, according to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer stated in his most recent Wrestling Observer Radio Show with Bryan Alvarez that Jessi Kamea, the talent who Dakota Kai defeated on last night’s NXT, is one of the members of the ANTIFA-like faction causing chaos on both RAW and SmackDown. There’s no word as to if she’ll remain a member once Retribution’s identities get revealed, but Meltzer simply states
“Jessi Kamea is a division 1 volleyball player,” Meltzer said. “The thing with her is she’s one of Retribution actually.” Meltzer adds what he saw last night in a three minute squash isn’t typically what you see up to par with NXT.
“Whenever I see someone like Jessi Kamea and everyone’s different, but she’s been there for years and she’s a good athlete and I’m watching this and it’s only three minutes and all that, but she was definitely not ready for television as compared to what you usually see on television in WWE.”
Retribution has wreaked havoc on Mondays and Fridays for WWE for weeks now and this is the first name we’re hearing to be involved with the group.
