Tommaso Ciampa hadn’t been around much on NXT, but he made his presence known tonight, showing up after a match to deliver an absolutely brutal assault to Jake Atlas.
In a match against Atlas that didn’t last very long, Ciampa very quickly dropped his opponent, delivering a series of stomps to Atlas before landing the Willow’s Bell DDT for the win. Following the match, Ciampa continued the attack, tossing Atlas out of the ring and into the barricade repeatedly. Despite people attempting to pull him away, Ciampa continued his attack, ending things with a slingshot into the metal ring support. Atlas was eventually taken away on a stretcher, with Ciampa looking on from the apron with a distant look on his face.
