Xavier Woods is determined to make his comeback in the WWE ThunderDome.
Xavier Woods has been on the injured list since suffering an Achilles tendon injury in late 2019. As the clock continues to tick closer to his return, Xavier Woods want to pay homage to a 1980s classic film inside of WWE brand new ThunderDome.
On the most recent episode of The New Day: Feel The Power, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and the Big E try to determine the greatest action movie of all time in part one of a two-part series. one of the matchups in the tournament pits Mad Max: Fury Road against Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
It becomes very clear very quickly that Beyond Thunderdome is going to win leading to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods talking about their fondness for WWE naming its all new virtual viewing experience “WWE ThunderDome.” Xavier Woods, in particular, has dreams about paying homage to the Master Blaster from the 1985 film.
“If I don’t get to make my return on E’s shoulders and we don’t get to come out as Master Blaster, why in the hell are we even calling it Thunderdome?! I got to have that as my comeback,” said a very passionate Xavier Woods.
Kofi Kingston added, “I almost gave a standing ovation when we got that memo, you know, ThunderDome?! Hell yeah. Let’s go, let’s go. Let’s go to work!”
So far, only Big E has been able to compete inside ThunderDome as both Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are out with injuries. In that time, Big E has quickly carved out a path for himself as a singles Superstar with many fans gravitating towards his natural charisma and passion for the industry after an 11-year Odyssey in WWE.
