The Rock Inducts Ken Shamrock Into IMPACT Hall Of Fame

During IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound for Glory pre-show, the company inducted legendary superstar Ken Shamrock into its Hall of Fame, and a handful of other legendary figures joined in the celebration to induct him, including Dwayne ” The Rock” Johnson and Mick Foley.

In a heartfelt message to Shamrock, The Rock recounted some of his most memorable wrestling moments, crediting Shamrock for being involved in many of them. “When I think back on some of the most memorable, meaningful and defining times of my career, I can count them on one hand,” admitted The Rock. “I’ve had the privilege of sharing the squared circle with so many incredible men … There is one man I owe a great amount, a debt and gratitude to and that is ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man,’ Ken Shamrock.”

The Rock went on to say that he was grateful that Shamrock took a chance on working with him when he was younger, something the superstar says that Shamrock didn’t have to do, but showed just how kind he is. “When I look back, I look back with such gratitude because Kenny was in the position to say, ‘I don’t want to work with that kid … who has only been in the business a few years.’ But he didn’t and a lot of guys would, and a lot of guys did do that.”

Other wrestling legends like Mick Foley and Bret Hart joined in sending video messages to Shamrock to congratulate him on joining the elite group of Hall of Famers, and now Shamrock will be forever enshrined as one of IMPACT Wrestling’s most legendary stars.
