ELP Wins Super J Cup 2020, Challenges Hiromu Takahashi To Tokyo Dome Match

El Phantasmo won his second Super J Cup on Saturday, joining Naomichi Marufuji & Jushin Thunder Liger as the third wrestler to do so in the history of the tournament. ELP defeated ACH in a blistering 16-minute contest, to close the one night tournament. ELP destroyed the Super J Cup trophy before the final match, and after the match left the trademark gold jacket in a heap on the ground.

Disrespect wasn’t the only thing on ELP’s mind. He took to the house microphone to challenge Best of Super Junior 27 winner Hiromu Takahashi to a match at Wrestle Kingdom 15. Takahashi has made a similar request on Dec. 11th after winning the tournament. As it stands, both men have claim to a match with IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori.

Plus Chris Bey, Lio Rush, Rey Horus, and Kevin Knight all made thrilling debuts for NJPW. The whole show is available on NJPWWorld.com
