Backstage, Braun Strowman walks up on Pearce. Strowman wants to know why he isn’t in the Elimination Chamber Match. Pearce says the match is for former WWE Champions. Strowman says he was Universal Champion. Pearce says that’s not the WWE Championship. Strowman tells Pearce that Shane McMahon needs to make this right.
Gauntlet Match: AJ Styles w/Omos vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods (Winner will get to enter the Elimination Chamber last)
Kingston and Styles are first. Styles goes after Kingston’s injured knee. Kingston sends Styles out of the ring. Kingston lands the falling star splash to the outside area. Woods gets on the announce desk and plays the trombone at Styles. Omos grabs Woods by the throat. Omos walks Woods over to the barricade and chokeslams him into the crowd. Kingston gets in Omos’ face. The referee ejects Omos. in the confusion, Styles lands a nasty chop block to Kingston. After the break, Styles is working over Kingston’s knee. Kingston surprises Styles with the SOS. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm. Styles pins Kingston.
Kofi Kingston has been eliminated
Drew McIntyre is next. McIntyre levels Styles with a clothesline. McIntyre tosses Styles all over the ring. McIntyre boots Styles in the face. After the break, continues the destruction of Styles. McIntyre sends Styles into the ring steps. McIntyre drops Styles with a rib breaker. Styles punches McIntyre in the throat.
Styles misses a splash in the corner. McIntyre hits a reverse Alabama Slam. McIntyre calls for the Claymore. Styles counters with a dropkick. McIntyre falls to the outside area. Styles lands a flying elbow. Sliding knee by Styles. McIntyre stumbles to his feet. Styles lands another flying elbow that sends McIntyre into the ring post.
