WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results (3/19/21)

A promo airs announce the next match as the least anticipated match in SmackDown history.

King Corbin vs. Sami Zayn

Corbin floors Zayn with a clothesline. Corbin ground and pounds Zayn. Corbin crushes Zayn in the corner. Corbin runs into the ring post. Zayn uses the ropes for his pin but the referee sees it. Zayn tries to take off the turnbuckle pad. The referee stops it. Corbin hits the End of Days for the win.

Winner- King Corbin

After the match, Zayn yells at Owens, asking if he saw what just happened. Owens says the only thing he saw was great officiating. Zayn walks away. Owens turns to talk to Corey Graves. Zayn charges in and hits a nasty Helluva Kick to Owens. Owens is out.

Apollo Crews and Big E are in different locations for an interview with Michael Cole. Cole asks both men if they will ever be able to settle their differences. Big E says that’s over. Cole may want to talk about reconciliation but Big E only cares about vengeance. Big E tells Crews he only has two days until Fastlane. Take the next two days to enjoy being able to have full use of all of his limbs. Big E exclaims Crews’ future is bleak. Big will retain his title Sunday. Crews tells Big E to choose his words more carefully when addressing Nigerian Royalty. Crews tells Big E he is going to crack Big E’s face. Crews is finally going to have what he deserves. Crews’ ancestors will stand with him as he is standing over Big E’s mangled body. Big E takes off his mic and says he isn’t waiting until Sunday. Big E hops in a golf cart to find Crews. Big E almost hits Crews with the cart. Crews backs off. Big E slams Crews into the wall. Big E hits Crews with a garbage can. Big E stomps Crews. Big e pinballs Crews all over the backstage area. Crews’ shirt is ripped off in the process. As referees and officials pull Big E off of Crews, Crews hops in the golf cart and drives away.

Bianca Belair vs. Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax

Banks walks out on the stage. Banks lets out a laugh and leaves. Belair is confused. Baszler sends Belair out of the ring. Jax looks at Belair and leaves ringside. Baszler doesn’t know what’s happening. Natalya and Tamina hit the ring and attack Baszler and Belair.

Winner- No Contest

Edge vs. Jey Uso (Winner will be the Special Enforcer for the Universal Championship Match at Fastlane)

Daniel Bryan is at the desk with Cole and Graves for the match. Edge almost locks Uso in the crossface. Uso avoids it. Edge lands a few elbow strikes. Edge lands two knee lifts. Edge and Uso end up fighting outside the ring. Uso manages to land a suicide dive that sends Edge into the announce desk. After the break, Uso stomps on Edge’s back. Uso knocks Edge off the apron. Uso sends Edge back into the ring. Edge and Uso crash into each other as they both try crossbody blocks at the same time. Edge gets to his feet first. Edge sends Uso shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Edge dives off the second rope and knees Uso in his injured shoulder. Uso surprises Edge with a Samoan drop. Edge kicks out. Edge hits a ranna off the top. Uso kicks out. Edge blocks a Superkick and hits the Implant DDT. Edge calls for the Spear. Uso counters with a Superkick. Uso lands the big splash off the top. Uso’s shoulder keeps him from making the cover immediately. Edge kicks out. Edge slams Uso into the mat by his injured shoulder. Edge hits the Spear for the win.

Winner- Edge

Reigns hits the ring and Spears Edge. Reigns tells Bryan to come get some. Bryan stands up and is immediately attacked from behind by Uso. Uso sends Bryan into the ring. Reigns Spears Bryan.
