The latest batch of ratings is in for SmackDown, and WWE saw their Friday viewership has fallen below 2 million this week.
According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE SmackDown viewership came back with a 1.946 million viewership number, down from the 2.010 million viewers the March 12 episode drew. As far as demographics go, the 18-49 demographic saw no change for team blue. This week’s 0.5 rating was the same as last week’s. In the 25-54 demographic, SmackDown drew a 0.65 rating, down from last week.
This episode of SmackDown centered around the final build to WWE Fastlane. In the main event, Edge defeated Jey Uso for the right to be the enforcer in the main event of Fastlane. Speaking of the main event of Fastlane, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan verbally sparred and Reigns told Bryan he’d rather die than tap out to Bryan.
This episode also saw Nia Jax and Sasha Banks clash for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Banks successfully retained following a misfire from Nia Jax’s partner, Shayna Baszler.
