Itoh’s account was reactivated on Tuesday morning, and she posted a statement revealing her account was pulled due to being hacked last week. The statement reads (via Google Translate):

Itoh’s account was deactivated on Friday, leading to speculation that she chose to leave due to online bullying. She later went on her Instagram account (which remained active) and she confirmed the Twitter account had been hacked. Itoh also said that the hacker had blocked some accounts, but she unblocked them and asked fans to re-follow the account.
Maki Itoh’s last appearance (for now) was on last week’s premiere of AEW Dark: Elevation, a loss to Riho. Itoh also competed on Dynamite on March 10, a six-woman tag match that saw Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami and Thunder Rosa defeat Itoh, Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Nyla Rose.
