WWE WrestleMania Night 1 Results (4/10/21)

RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. AJ Styles and Omos

Omos is in street clothes. Omos tries to start the match, but Woods and Kingston tell Styles to start. Styles says ok. Kingston and Styles trade counters and pinfall attempts. Styles tries to suplex Kingston but Kinston counter with a facebuster. Kingston stares down Omos. Omos isn’t pleased. Woods and Kingston beatdown Styles. Unicorn stampede by The New Day. Styles runs around the ring to try to finally get to Omos to make a tag but Woods pounces Styles out of the ring. Kingston flattens Styles with the cave in. Woods and Kingston continue their assault. Styles kicks Kingston out of the ring. Styles finally tags in Omos. Woods looks terrified. Woods lands a few leg kicks but they have no effect. Woods tries a dropkick, that does nothing. Kingston dives off the top. Omos catches Kingston and flips him inside out. Omos crushes Kingston and Woods in the corner. Omos almost splits Woods in half with a rib breaker. Styles leaps off Omos’ shoulders and hits the Phenomenal forearm. Omos destroys Kingston with a 7-foot Sky High. Omos pins Kingston with his foot on his chest.

Steel Cage Match: Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon

As Strowman is making his way to the ring, Elias and Ryker attack Strowman from behind. Elias hits Strowman in the knee with a chair. Shane hits Strowman with a chair over and over again. Strowman catches the chair and rips it out of Shane’s hands. Shane kicks Strowman’s back leg and hits him with a chair again. Shane tries to leave the cage but Strowman stops him. Shane rips a piece of metal off the cage and hits Strowman with it. Strowman fires up and beats down Shane.  Shane hits a DDT. Shane goes coast-to-coast on Strowman. Strowman kicks out. Elias and Ryker climb the cage to help Shane climb out. Strowman jumps into the cage to knock Elias and Ryker to the floor. Shane falls between the cage and the ring. Shane climbs the cage again. Strowman cuts Shane off. Shane hits Strowman in the head with a toolbox. Shane makes it out of the cage but he tags a moment to wave bye to Strowman. Strowman pops to his feet and grabs Shane’s hand. Strowman rips open the side of the cage and pulls Shane back in. Strowman pulls Shane to the top of the cage. Strowman launches Shane off the top of the cage. Shane’s body bounces off the mat with a sickening thud. Strowman hits a running powerslam for the win.
