WWE Releases Billie Kay, Thanks Fans In Statement

UPDATE: Billie Kay has released a statement thanking fans and the WWE for helping her live her childhood dream.

Billie Kay has been released by WWE.

WWE released multiple Superstars on Thursday, announcing the roster moves with the following statement on the company’s website.

WWE has come to terms on a release of Billie Kay, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker and Wesley Blake as of today April 15, 2021.

We wish Billie, Mickie, Chelsea, Tucker and Wesley the best in all of their future endeavors.

Billie Kay was best known for her tenure in WWE as one-half of The IIconics with Peyton Royce; the pair won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship once. Billie was most recently working as a solo act on SmackDown with a gimmick that saw her handing out her resume to various WWE Superstars. Her last match was the Tag Team Turmoil match on night one of WrestleMania 37 where she teamed with Carmella; the match was ultimately won by Natalya and Tamina.
