Wesley Blake has been released by WWE.
WWE released multiple Superstars on Thursday, announcing the roster moves with the following statement on the company’s website.
WWE has come to terms on a release of Billie Kay, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker and Wesley Blake as of today April 15, 2021.
We wish Billie, Mickie, Chelsea, Tucker and Wesley the best in all of their future endeavors.
Blake signed with WWE in June 2013 and was an original member of the WWE Performance Center class when it opened. He is a former NXT Tag Team Champion, winning the titles with Buddy Murphy in 2015. Blake most recently spent time in the Forgotten Sons stable with Jaxson Ryker and Steve Cutler.
His last match in WWE was on the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on May 10, 2020, a Fatal Four Way tag title match that saw The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) defeat John Morrison & The Miz, The Lucha House Party, and The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake).
