Major League Wrestling is headed back to the Lone Star State.
According to a new report from PWInsider.com, MLW will be hosting an event in Dallas on September 11. No other details about the live date were reported, but it was said that MLW does have other dates booked between July and November, and more details will be revealed soon.
MLW’s Court Bauer recently announced that the company will host its first fan-attended event since the onset of the pandemic on July 10 in Philadelphia. Since then, they’ve also announced the COVID-19 protocols for the event, which can be seen at this link.
The promotion initially had planned on hosting an MLW Fusion taping in Dallas (North Richland Hills, Texas) at the NYTEX Sports Center on May 2, 2020, which was later rescheduled to October 3 before that was ultimately postponed.
At the time of the initial announcement, Bauer issued the following statement to The Dallas Morning News:
“I know I speak for everyone in Texas when I say we anxiously await the day when we’re all together celebrating a return to everyday life. When that day comes, we’re going to do it big in Dallas-Fort Worth.”
