Cesaro earned himself a shot at the WWE Universal Championship last night, when he defeated Seth Rollins in a match. Afterwards, the superstar promised to take down Roman Reigns for the entire WWE Universe.
Following his big win over Rollins, Cesaro spoke with WWE in a backstage interview. Asked to sum up his feelings after earning a shot, the superstar couldn’t, saying it was a huge night to finally earn a title shot in his career. Cesaro then said that while Roman Reigns preaches about family, he feels as if his family throughout his career has been the WWE Universe.
Despite all the ups and downs, Cesaro said that the WWE Universe has always been there for him, whether they were booing him or cheering for him. Because of this, he wants to bring the title back to the WWE Universe, and put things back on track inside the locker room.
